Precision Chico Asphalt Paving started in 2015 with a straightforward idea: do asphalt work the right way and be honest with the people hiring you. The business grew out of a frustration with contractors who gave vague quotes, skipped prep steps, and moved on before the customer understood what was done or why.
Chico has its own set of demands - months of intense summer heat that dries out asphalt faster than most of California, clay-heavy valley soils that shift with the seasons, and wet winters that find every unprotected crack. Today the company serves 12 cities across the northern Sacramento Valley, from residential driveways near Bidwell Park to commercial parking lots along the Highway 99 corridor. California requires asphalt paving contractors to hold a valid state contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Ours is current and publicly verifiable at cslb.ca.gov. Hiring an unlicensed contractor in California removes your legal protections if something goes wrong.
